I can't make an example of a personal experience with Twitter because I don't have one. But, I have been put under the impression that Twitter is a cult, because everyone who has one and finds out that I don't tells me I need to get one. But I truly know that having a Twitter is not going to improve my health at all. I've seen a Twitter before and it seems to be becoming as popular as Facebook. The purpose of Twitter is make SMS posts on your profile so that your followers can read whatever it is that you posted. I don't know much about what it means for a topic to be "trending". But I do know that Twitter is a very distracting site, because it is actually appearing in the media, for example on 106&Park there is always a trending topic of the day and for the entire show, on the bottom of the screen they show people's tweets. As if I care, I don't like little blue birds anyway.
